The Oak Hill Caddie Program
The Oak Hill Caddie Program is over 30 years old and growing. We recently incorporated our Caddie Scholarship Fund and in 2005 began awarding the first of hopefully many scholarships for the best and most deserving caddies on the squad at the club.
2013 Caddie Applicant Information
The 2013 Program will begin May first for new caddies. Criteria for participating in the Caddie Program is listed below.
Caddies must be at least 16 years of age.
Caddie candidates may not be related to any member of OHCC.
Caddie candidates must have a very good knowledge of the game of golf. (Preferably, as an avid golfer or caddie).
No correspondence will be accepted before April 15, 2013.

Caddie Levels
"B"Caddies
All "B" caddies are new to the program. They have completed all the training sessions (5). "B" caddies are expected to perform the basics of caddying and are promoted to the "A" classification when they have been rated "Excellent" by the golfers at least twice. This may take anywhere form 2 to 10 "loops". "B" caddies do not carry doubles.
"A" Caddies
"A" caddies are developing their skills to advance to the "Honor" classification. An "A" achieves the honor status when he has recorded at least 60 rounds of caddying of which 80% of the loops have been rated "Excellent".
"Honor" Caddies
Honor caddies excel in all areas of caddying and have the ability to read greens, assist in club selection, have knowledge of the rules of golf, etc.
